Gruntz full game

Trust me, this one is crazy and some of it might rub off on you if you're not careful. It's very similar to Lemmings for anyone who has played that enduring series, with obstacle packed mazes to negotiate and oodles of personality. Gruntz , however, presents a top down view and it also has the combat element.

Fortunately, Gruntz are gooey and recyclable so if you find a straw you can suck up their gooey splotches and put them back in action. Gruntz is a great family game, quirky and humorous, with some quite tricky levels to keep you coming back for more. Unlike Lemmings , you can save your game at any time and try different strategies to see you through. Screenshots from MobyGames. Jonathan 1 point. Initially, the game was very slow Windows 8.

If it's a 32bit DirectX application then copy DDraw. Dumrash 0 point. MikkanE 4 points. Mart 1 point. AngelDaizy 0 point. Zibri 2 points. If someone is interested I just patched Gruntz. It seems to run great in Linux with Wine. Ripaton -2 points.

I've download the game, menus work fine but the game is incredibly slow Anyone knows what I could do? Thanks in advance. Pourriez-vous m'aider? Merci d'avance.

MMM 7 points. After way too much time spent trying to get Gruntz to work on my Windows 8 laptop, I finally figured out how including multiplayer , and since there seem to be a fair amount of people looking at this section I figured I should take some time to write a comment about this. If you manage to get it to work I highly recommend checking out Gooroo's Gruntz forum which hosts a huge amount of custom levels, and the Discord server associated with it for multiplayer matches.

The method I used is the tried and true method of running Gruntz in a virtual machine. I have been using VirtualBox 5 at first which didn't work for me, BUT after doing some research I got VirtualBox 4 which does just fine - perhaps kind of like how Windows 8 and 10 don't work, while 7 did? Anyways, there is some hassle involved, but Gruntz and from my research I'd assume this goes for most old games too should function nicely in VirtualBox 4.

If you want you can select an existing one or make a new one, that doesn't matter as long as you can find it easily. If you get any warning messages saying it hasn't passed Windows Logo testing, ignore them and select Continue Anyway. When you're done, restart and you should be able to access the shared folder you set earlier. If you're using the RIP version, from my experience it will not be possible to patch it to the 1. After all this is done, you should be able to get Gruntz to run smoothly.

After a while, you'll have more orange gobs of goo at your command than you'll know what to do with. In addition to figuring out the system of switches, you also have to make sure not to spend too much time with an individual. This is particularly true with the Multiplayer and one-player Battlez modes in which you control an entire army of Gruntz against up to three other armies in what may best be described as a thought-provoking capture-the-flag. A team is out when their king has been captured, and the last remaining team is the victor.

It's not uncommon to control as many as 10 or more Gruntz at once in one of these heated battles. The fact that you can't see them all on the same screen makes things even more challenging!

But what makes things most interesting -- the whole reason I enjoyed playing it for several hours -- is the game's character. While no one Grunt stands out outside of the cut-scenes they're all nameless and generic , they have plenty of ways to make you laugh -- especially if you're a pop-culture buff like me. Aside from their Elmo-like utterings of "You got it! My personal favorite comes when a Grunt is equipped with his ideal tool and proclaims, "By the power of Grayskull I miss it so much.

I think about it several times a year! Please let us have it again. I want please Gruntz! My brother and me wish please Gruntz! Please make Gruntz available for GOG users - it's old, it's good, it's classic and kids can learn to navigate within with mouse keyboards in the fun world of the orange dudes.

I was involuntarily thought of this game recently and found this post. Don't speak so much shit words just put on sale at once This game is not available anywhere! Please just make it happen and let us play Gruntz. Monolith Productions is still an active studio, and this game is one of their pinnacle!

Played this game as a kid, its great : Would definitely buy a GOG version! This game is one of my all time favorites.

I'd love to see it working on my PC! I don't know who I need to be in contact with, but I have a cd copy of gruntz. Really surprised this game has been left in the past. Please bring it to modern PC!
