LSDJ allows a gamer to make professional sounding music at an amateur level. The program comes with a sequencer to structure and compose your own tracks and music, while it also offers the user a whole host of samples including drum beats sampled from fifteen separate machines and synthesizers. The sound produced is surprisingly good, as the Gameboy sound chip offers four separate channels of 4-bit sound and therefore goes well beyond the traditional C64 chord stylings.
